A Tribal Holding Company
PINE is incorporated under Section 17 to the IRA, 25 U.S.C. 477, by which the Secretary of Interior issued the Nation a federal charter. Through Section 17 incorporation, the tribe created PINE as a separate legal entity to divide its governmental and business activities.
